Back-arch rocks
Main points
- Arms either stretched by ears, bent with hands touching ears, or behind in ‘wings’ position
- Back arched as high as possible
- Tighten all muscles in the back of the body including upper back, lower back, glutes, hamstrings and calves
- Legs must be locked straight
- Start the rock by dropping shoulders slightly forward, then continue by transferring weight from back to from
- Maintain body tension at all times
